Trunk release kit for your NB Miata.
This kit DOES NOT FIT an NA 1990-1997 Miata.
Machined Aluminum finger pull that is radiused to fit in the factory trunk key hole housing.
Fully adjustable with the bulkhead fittings to achieve the desired tension on the finger pull. Finger pull can be rotated to be in a vertical or horizontal position.
Kit requires you to insert (2) supplied nutserts into existing holes in unibody.
Kit comes with everything you need below:
- Custom cable with bulkhead fitting on one end and ball on the finger pull end.
- Body side anodized cable bracket
- Aluminum Black anodized finger pull.
- Stainless cable retention screw for finger pull.
No more crappy looking cables that get looped and crimped. Seems like the crimp eventually fails and the whole thing looks barn yard to me, so we made up our own kit that will last the life of your race car.
